Hymn Preludes and Postludes arr. Robert Lau, for Intermediate 3-staff Organ
A unique concept is behind this collection from beloved composer and arranger Robert Lau. For each of the chosen hymns of praise, there are two entirely different organ settings: one of quiet prelude (or offertory) character and one of extroverted postlude character. They can be used as individual pieces or played at the beginning and end of worship to provide coherent service bookends. Spiritual Praises Unending arr. Jason W. Krug, for Easy 2-staff Organ
In this volume of Jason Krug’s popular “Praises Unending” series, familiar spirituals receive a two-pedal treatment. As with the previous volumes, each easy piece uses only two different pedal notes throughout. It is perfect music for pianists who must play the organ or anybody whose practice time is in short supply. Caryn G. is a graduate of Trinity Lutheran College (Washington state). She has over 24 years of experience working at Stanton’s in both the Piano and Choral departments, specializing in sacred piano music. She is a church pianist/accompanist and has enjoyed being a piano teacher and singing in many choirs over the years. When not working at Stanton’s or at church, she loves spending time with family members and friends, traveling and exploring, watching movies, reading, bike riding and most recently trying to better her culinary knowledge and be a little more artsy by painting rocks and water coloring.
Judy S. has 30 years of private piano teaching experience and 40 years as a church pianist. Her experience makes her a valuable connection for anybody who calls the piano department.
