Aretha Franklin 20 Greatest Hits

00125964It has been a long time since there was a collection of Aretha Franklin sheet music.  This new publication from Hal Leonard includes twenty hits by the Queen of Soul.  When you hear the song “Respect” or “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman”, I bet you hear Aretha Franklin‘s voice in your head.   She has been a very active artist since the 1960’s, and in 1987, she was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.  In 2014, she covered Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep”, which debuted at 47 on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs.  In so doing, Franklin became the first woman to have 100 songs on that chart.  Welcome back to print music, Miss Franklin! I hope this isn’t the only book of your songs that we see!

For more information about this collection, or those of other artists, call us at 1-800-42-MUSIC, email us at, or visit our website,  Shop Stanton’s for all your sheet music needs.

  1. You’re right–Aretha Franklin has 100 chart hits–and hundreds more recordings that are loved by her fans–how in the world did someone choose a mere twenty songs out of that?! And why in the world stop at twenty, anyhow? Are there going to be five or ten subsequent volumes?
