Top Pop Hits for Marching Band: Hal Leonard

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be highlighting the top new pop hits by publisher for marching band for 2013!  These charts are some of today’s biggest pop hits.  They’re catchy, full of hooks, and your students are sure to love them!  If you haven’t picked up at least one of these titles, what are you waiting for?  Don’t miss out!!

Taylor Swift continues to dominate the airwaves with her appealing style of country and rock.  Here is one of her biggest hits in a gritty, hard-hitting arrangement for marching band.

Locked Out of Heaven – Bruno Mars
Locked Out of Heaven is an energetic and rhythmic tune from hit-maker Bruno Mars. The low brass are featured on the melody with syncopated answers by the entire band. The perfect style and tempo for dance routines, and just plain fun!
