So You Want to Play the 5-String (Banjo)

Hal Leonard’s Banjo Method Book 1 is a great first book for a beginning banjo player.  There are chords and strums, tablature and picking, and neat tricks to playing, like slides and rolls.  This book will get a beginner off to a great start! After a good start with the Banjo Method book, there is another book of banjo solos called “More Easy Banjo Solos“.  It has sixteen oldtime and Bluegrass banjo solos, including “Old Homeplace”,  “Abilene”, and  “Blue Moon of Kentucky”.  Get started with one or both of these helpful, fun books of banjo sheet music!  For more information about these, or other music books for banjo, call us at 1-800-42-MUSIC, email us at keyboard@stantons.com, or visit our website at http://www.stantons.com.  Shop Stanton’s for all your sheet music needs.
